ProcessLink Configuration
Overview

Select Actions column of the results table on the ProcessLinks screen.
in the
Configure the settings for a specific ProcessLink to determine how the company sends and receives messages in Info Exchange. The options specified here override the default configuration settings.
ProcessLink Information

- Name – Name of the ProcessLink.
- Owner – The user who owns the ProcessLink.

- – The alternate identifier defined for the ProcessLink, which allows TraceLink to properly route transactions sent by the company to the ProcessLink and label transactions sent to the company.
Info Exchange Settings

- Test – The ProcessLink only tests the relationship, without real data.
- Production – The ProcessLink contains real data from the production process.

Customer and Location ID Settings

SAP IDoc Receiver Settings

If the company uses SAP, the SAP IDoc Receiver and Partner Profile sections configure default settings for the ProcessLinks applied in outbound translation and delivery of IDoc messages sent to the company's system.

SAP IDoc Sender Settings

If the company uses SAP, the SAP IDoc Receiver and Partner Profile sections configure default settings for the ProcessLinks applied in outbound translation and delivery of IDoc messages sent to the company's system.

Supplier and Location ID Settings

If in the Transaction Delivery Settings table is set to Enable, TraceLink applies the following values to the outgoing transaction.
- – Value that identifies the supplier in this ProcessLink.
- – Value that identifies the supplier plant in this ProcessLink.
- – Value that identifies the supplier location in this ProcessLink.
Transaction Delivery Settings

This table allows the user to set options for each transaction sent by the Partner in the ProcessLink.
- Business Process – The TraceLink app that correlates to the transaction (e.g. Delivery Tracking, Quality Review).
- Transaction – The type of transaction.

- Automatically Deliver – Instructs TraceLink to translate transactions received from the Partner to the configured format set up by the company and then deliver the transactions to the configured endpoint set up by the company.
- Manual Delivery only – (default) Instructs TraceLink not to deliver transactions received from the Partner.
- Deliver After Business User Review – Instructs TraceLink to hold transactions received from the Partner and display them in the ProcessLink Pending Review tab, so that a business user can review the transactions and determine whether or not to deliver them.
– Indicates what happens to the transaction when the company receives it in TraceLink.

- Enable Customer Lot Number – If selected, TraceLink cross-references the item code and lot number in these transactions against the cross-reference table maintained by the company's customer and then substitutes the lot number if necessary.
– Indicates whether TraceLink cross-references transaction information with customer supplied information. - Enable – Instructs TraceLink to apply the Customer and/or Supplier Location and ID Settings configured in the individual ProcessLink configuration to the transaction, which overwrites existing values during outbound delivery.
