Overview

Select Devices screen.
on the
Register a new device on the current TraceLink environment so that a Company Administrator can install the mobile app on the device.
Device Information

- Unique Device ID (UDID) – The unique 32-digit TraceLink-generated ID for the device. It consists of 1 group of 8 hexadecimal digits, followed by 3 groups of 4 hexadecimal digits each, followed by 1 group of 12 hexadecimal digits separated by hyphens (e.g. 123A4567-B89C-12D3-F456-426614174000). Acceptable characters are numbers 0-9 and letters A-F.
- Activation Code – The TraceLink-generated 8-character, alphabetic, and case-sensitive string that is paired with the specific device.

- – The unique name of the device. Must be unique across all names defined for a single location. Maximum 50 characters, with no spaces. TraceLink accepts alphanumeric characters in addition to the following: _ . , @ / : # -
- – The unique Media Access Control (MAC) address of the device. Must be 6 sets of 2 characters separated by colons or hyphens (e.g. 00:23:68:CF:A4:D8 or 00-23-68-CF-A4-D8). Acceptable characters are numbers 0-9 and letters A-F.

– The model of the device.- 8883 – (default) The standard port that the device uses to communicate with the TraceLink Life Sciences Cloud.
- 443 – An alternate port that companies can use to communicate with the TraceLink Life Sciences Cloud if the company blocks port 8883.
