Serial Number Verification Overview
The Serial Number Verification message enables integration from enterprise systems including Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and/or Enterprise Serialization Management (ESM) systems to send a Serial Number Verification Request message to the TraceLink EU Compliance app. An EU Compliance app Owner or Partner can send the verification request to TraceLink. TraceLink then sends the request to the European Hub to request the status of a product's serial numbers from the European national systems, and receives the response asynchronously. Lastly, TraceLink sends the response to the initiator of the request.
