Hover over Application Settings on the User Profile drop-down in the top right of any screen, and then select General.

• Update user name and password.
• Choose the application that displays after logging in to TraceLink (i.e. the application that acts as the start page).
• Specify the language that the TraceLink user interface displays in.

Any TraceLink Member has access to this screen.

• User Name – The user's unique user name.
• Password – The user's unique password.

The following fields display when selecting the Edit icon next to the User Name field.

• New User Name – A new, unique user name. The user name must be an email address.
• Repeat New User Name – The new user name, typed again to confirm.
• Current Password – The user's current password, necessary to confirm the new user name.

The following fields display when selecting the Edit icon next to the Password field.

• Current Password – The user's current password, necessary to confirm the new password.
• New Password – A new, unique password.

  Passwords must be at least 8 characters and contain one capital letter, one numeric character and one of the following special characters: ! @ # $ % ^ & *

• Repeat New Password – The new password, typed again to confirm.

• Starting Module – The app that displays immediately after login. Only apps that the user has access to display (in alphabetical order).

  Default app is Getting Started.

• Starting Page – The default screen that displays immediately within the starting app. Options include the default landing page and screens available from the application navigation at the top of each screen. Available only if the Starting Module is US Product Track, Serialized Operations Manager, or Serial Number Exchange.
• Screen Mode – The size of the TraceLink window in the user's screen.
  • Normal – (default) TraceLink-set window size.
  • Full Screen – Expand the TraceLink window to fill the screen. Available only if the Starting Module is US Product Track or Serialized Operations Manager.
• Language – The preferred language settings for apps and documentation. The language displays in the native language within the drop-down.

  Certain apps are available in languages other than English. When available, text displays in the selected language. Otherwise text displays in English (regardless of the Language setting).

1. Select the Edit icon next to the User Name field.

2. Enter the desired user name in the New User Name text field.
3. Enter the same desired user name in the Repeat New User Name text field.
4. Enter the current password in the Current Password text field.

5. Select Save Changes.

   • The account settings are now saved.
   • TraceLink sends an email to confirm the validity of the new email address.

   • The new User Name does not display until the email verification is complete.

1. Select the Edit icon next to the Password field.

2. Enter the Current Password in the text field.
3. Enter the desired password in the New Password text field.
4. Enter the same desired password in the Repeat New Password text field.
5. Select Save Changes.

   The account settings are now saved.

1. Select a Starting Module from the drop-down.
2. Select a Starting Page from the drop-down. Available only if the Starting Module is US Product Track, Serialized Operations Manager, or Serial Number Exchange.
3. Select a Screen Mode from the drop-down. Available only if the Starting Module is US Product Track or Serialized Operations Manager.
4. Select a Language from the drop-down.
5. Select Save Changes.

   The account settings are now saved.
